Money Dynamics
Debt is the worst poverty

--Thomas Fuller

This seminar was developed after a financial planner and accountant suggested it. In her experience many clients had spending patterns that led to repetitive shortfalls and bankruptcies even when given courses in financial matters.  Knowledge is power…but only when applied.  When she heard about the Inner Dynamics System of creating change from the inside she suggested that we develop seminars that applied to the dynamics of money.

When it comes to money or abundance, each society has certain values and beliefs about money. When ideas and perceptions become ingrained they can develop into a  mass belief system to which many unconsciously subscribe. Consequently individuals continue to be influenced by it subliminally.  In our role as life coaches we ask clients to consider how these mass beliefs may be affecting them in their daily lives and preventing them from experiencing greater abundance.

Money and how it is managed is not a topic many choose to  discuss.  Sound money management is not taught in school systems and many who run into financial problems do not understand how their relationship with money developed.
Our approach encourages clients know exactly where they stand financially at all times. Some of the questions we ask them to consider are as follows:

·
Do you balance your checkbook?
·
Make a household budget?
·
Know when your bills are due and pay them on time?
·
Do you reconcile bank statements…or increase your living expenses with late fees?
·
How many credit cards do you have?
·
What are the balances? What are the interest rates?
·
Have you considered the long term costs involved in only making the minimum payments?
·
What would be the consequences if you had to live off them?
·
How long would you be able to live? Then what?
·
How much have you saved?
·
If you have a retirement account, how much is in it and will remain if the funds had to be accessed?

Financial planning does not need to rule life…but it helps to know what some of the basics are and how to work with them. Our society has very defined ideas about what true wealth means. Some are of the mind that “being rich” involves a large portfolio of financial assets.   There is often little argument that financial wealth does not always translate into a happy, satisfying life.

Money Dynamics is not a financial planning seminar…we leave that to the experts in their field. What distinguishes our approach is that we can assist with whatever circumstances clients are in without judgment.  The tools and discovery exercises provide ways to access the genesis and history of a person’s relationship with money and how to improve it.  By changing and re-framing outmoded attitudes and beliefs about what money represents it is possible to make other choices.

Is  it possible to live an abundant life without being “wealthy?
With the Money Dynamics System our answer is “Yes!”

THE FRESH BEGINNINGS APPROACH TO MONEY DYNAMICS:

Whether in private or group life coaching we use an interactive format. Material explores where attitudes about money originate and provides practical suggestions for change.  Money represents different things to different people and there is no right or wrong answer. It is, in reality, only an exchange of energy…be it for goods or services.

The key to changing one’s relationship with money is to assess whether what it is being “spent” on is improving or diminishing the quality of life.  Once a person develops greater awareness about the purpose money serves it is easier to make choices that will align to larger life goals. Handouts, discovery exercises and suggested reading lists are provided so participants can continue applying the “...suggested life strategies changes”.
